For the period of holidays, the artificially impounded water bodies that supply water to Yalta have been filled with an insignificant amount of water, in spite of the precipitations. That was reported by so-called Yalta’s Mayor Yanina Pavlenko.
‘For the period of these holidays, in spite of rains and snow, the tributaries were quite small. The artificially impounded water bodies received about 20 thousand cubic meters of water. In Zagorsk artificially impounded water body, there must be 27 mln. and 800 thousand cubic meters of water whereas the dead-storage capacity is 2 mln. and 500 thousand cubic meters, and water level is only 2 mln. and 42 thousand cubic meters as for now. In Schastliven artificially impounded water body, there must be 11 mln. and 800 thousand cubic meters of water whereas the dead-storage capacity is 100 thousand cubic meters. Nowadays, we have only 2 mln. and 390 thousand cubic meters left’, Ms. Pavlenko reported.
