In occupied Sevastopol, 267 teachers have already been vaccinated against COVID-19. That was reported by so-called Manager of the Health Care Department Vitali Denisov.

‘267 teachers have been vaccinated with the vaccines out of the first batch’, Vitali Denisov emphasized.

On the peninsula, the next batch of Russian anti-COVID-19 vaccine is expected to come on the 14th of January. It has not come yet. So-called Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev ordered to test the teachers for COVID-19.

‘We must test the teachers before they start their work at schools. We have a week in store for that. We are getting ready for the mass vaccination of teachers. We will do that as soon as we receive the vaccine’, Mikhail Razvozhayev said.

It is worth paying attention that Russian vaccine in its present shape cannot be used for a mass large-scale vaccination, as it was reported by both the scientists from West and Russia. Thus, the members of the Russian Society of Evidence-Based Medicine Specialists including their vice-president, Honoured Higher School Professor and epidemiologist Vasiliy Vlasov shook their heads at the vaccine. The Russian scientists published an open letter in which they are criticizing the report of the vaccine creators on the clinical trials of Sputnik V (I-II phases) in the medical magazine  The Lancet. The letter was signed by Vasiliy Vlasov, M.D. and Professor of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Olga Rebrova, M.D. and Professor of N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University Valeriy Aksenov, Candidate of Medicine and science editor of Vionika Media Publishing House as well as the authors who are the vice-presidents of the Society of Evidence-Based Medicine Specialists ( ).
