Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzheppar met with the EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas to discuss, in particular, the situation in Russia-annexed Crimea, the MFA press office reports.

‘Emine Dzheppar informed the EU Ambassador about security policy and humanitarian situation in Russia-occupied Crimea. She thanked the EU for the consistency in non-recognition of illegal referendum on Russia’s constitutional amendments held in Crimea and called on the EU to impose sanctions on the organisers thereof’, the MFA informs.

The parties also discussed the EU-Ukraine summit to take place in Brussels in October this year.
