In Crimea, the harvest of fruits has decreased by 27 thousand tons due to the bad weather conditions. It was reported by Andrey Riumshyn, a so-called Vice-Prime Minister for the Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea.
‘The last year, the gross output of the fruit crops comprised 113 thousand tons. This year, we expect that the gross output of the fruit crops will become lower due to the impact of the bad weather and climate conditions’, informed Riumshyn, adding that, according to the results and plans of 2020, about 85 thousand tons are to be picked.
Earlier, the official had affirmed that the fruit trees had suffered from April and May frosts practically in all the regions of the peninsula.
