Throughout the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Crimean collaborators have committed many crimes to aid the aggressor state in its encroachment on the independence and sovereignty of the Ukrainian state.

Since the beginning of the amplitudinous war, the self-proclaimed “power” of the Crimea has paid special attention to “economic expansion”.Wanting to “solve regional problems”, Crimean collaborators “took advantage of the moment” and began to actively destroy the economy of the occupied parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions.

Such “problems” of Crimea itself, caused by eight years of negligence of the occupation “administration”, include significant difficulties with water distribution, shortage of quality agricultural products, lack of markets, the decline of the tourism sector and more.

Therefore, for more than a hundred days, the self-proclaimed Crimean authorities have been destroying the economy of Russia’s newly occupied territories, allegedly trying to close “their own holes” that have emerged in the occupied Crimea since 2014 and have not divided.

This problem was analyzed by experts of the Association of Reintegration of Crimea.

From the very beginning of the amplitudinous war, it became clear that Russia behaves like an ordinary marauder. Under the guise of fake “good intentions”, the Kremlin immediately began openly looting the occupied Ukrainian mainland and looting everything that could be taken out.

Thus, after the occupation of Mariupol, the Kremlin criminally sent ships with metal products from the city’s seaport to Rostov-on-Don. Today it is well known that the occupiers are illegally “establishing a railway connection” to accelerate the pace of looting.

Crimean collaborators decided not to lag behind their “colleagues” and began to actively plunder the newly occupied territories. They began to mass transfer goods from the occupied Kherson region to the Crimea. To do this, local entrepreneurs are under pressure from “tourists” from the temporarily occupied peninsula.

One of the tasks of the Russian occupiers is the forced use of freight transport of logistics companies, which criminally transfer goods and food to the Crimea. There are cases when the occupiers involve their army in order to force Kherson businessmen to “cooperate” with Crimean collaborators.

The latter, by the way, have already established a fairly “profit scheme”. They are illegally transfering goods from the Kherson Region to the occupied Crimea, and from where they return some of them and force Kherson entrepreneurs to sell these goods in local markets.

There are known cases when such goods are transfered back under the guise of “humanitarian aid from the peninsula”. A very cynical scheme, especially in the context of the humanitarian crisis, which the occupiers themselves created in the Kherson Region. The latest statements of Crimean traitors about the alleged “development of trade relations” with the Kherson Region coincided with information about the forced looting of goods from the Kherson network “Epicenter”.

It turns out the characteristic “economic cooperation” in the form of raids and robberies. But nothing else should be expected from the Kremlin’s protégés in the Crimea, as they are completely copying their curators from Moscow. The goods that the occupiers criminally transfer from the Kherson Region are then sold to resellers at reduced prices, and those from Ukrainian trucks are reloaded in the Crimea and then transported from there to Russia. This is a kind of “business on blood”.

Crimean collaborators are mostly interested in grain and other agricultural products. According to Ukrainian officials, queues are constantly waiting for kilometers to enter the Crimea at Chongar and Kalanchak “checkpoints”. For example, eyewitnesses counted about 700 trucks with Ukrainian license plates.

It seems that the occupiers are in a hurry to steal “to the maximum”, feeling the instability of their situation and the imminent de-occupation of both the Kherson Region and the temporarily occupied Crimea. It should be noted that the invaders’ criminal “administration” in Kherson directly acknowledges the fact that Russian invaders criminally transfer grain from the region to the Crimea and further to Russia.

We are talking about 500 thousand tons of grain from the last harvest, which, according to the lies of the occupiers, they allegedly “just save from damage”. Also forcing local businesses to “sell” grain for nothing, the occupiers say that they are “trying to vacate warehouses for new grain storage”. A very specific “rescue” under the barrels of machine guns, when Kherson farmers have no other alternative.

In such an “economic expansion”, as it turned out, there is a “political connotation”. For example, the Russian occupiers are massively distributing Kherson vegetables in Crimea “at significantly reduced prices” in order to “quench the dissatisfaction of Crimean citizens with the total rise in food prices”, the emergence of a “deficit” and the region’s proximity to hostilities. Also, this dissemination aims to program in the minds of ordinary Crimean residents that they are “accomplices” in the robbery of Kherson.

That is, by plundering the Kherson region, Crimean collaborators are trying to stay in their “chairs” in order to continue to turn the Ukrainian peninsula into a military base with hostages in the form of the local population. Their ambitions have already spread to some occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Region, where Crimean “tourists” forbid farmers to transfer their products to the territory, controlled by Ukraine.

Farmers are forced to simply unload their products at the occupiers’ “checkpoints”, where they are essentially disappearing. Along with this, the fake “minister of industrial policy” Oleksandr Tryanov has already stated in Simferopol that “vegetables from the southern part of the Zaporizhzhya Region, in particular from Energodar, have arrived in the peninsula”.

In fact, there is a situation that is very similar to the genocide of the population of Kherson region. On the one hand, Russian invaders transfer all agricultural products to the Crimea and blocks humanitarian corridors from the government-controlled territory of Ukraine, and on the other hand, they criminally introduces the so-called “ruble zone” and do not release Kherson residents into Ukrainian-controlled territory.

The logical consequence of such actions is a humanitarian crisis and famine in the region, which the Kremlin is likely to try to “write off to Ukraine”. The paradox is that Kherson entrepreneurs and farmers themselves are “not expected” in the Crimea.

In particular, according to insiders, all markets on the peninsula are controlled by local “authorities” and the mafia, which of course will not allow Kherson residents to trade there. The only thing they can count on in the occupied Crimea is intermediaries in wholesale markets, which will “buy” products only for nothing.

These are the criminal “realities” offered by Crimean collaborators in the framework of “economic cooperation” with the newly occupied territories.

The provision of medicines in the occupied Kherson region is a rather urgent problem. There are almost no medicines left in the region, including drip solutions and drugs for cardiovascular diseases. Hospitals also lack oxygen. This problem did not arise out of nowhere. It is a direct consequence of the total looting of quality medicines by Russian invaders to the temporarily occupied Crimea, in particular for the “treatment needs” of the Russian military.

At the same time, Crimean collaborators are forcing entrepreneurs on the peninsula to “buy and sell” some of these stolen drugs. If they refuse to trade in stolen medicines, entrepreneurs face “problems with the fiscal authorities” and “loss of business”. Such “model of economic cooperation” is very interesting, when both sides of the business have no alternative, and the self-proclaimed occupying “power” dictates its own rules.

Recently, the secretary of the aggressor party “United Russia” Turchak, who illegally came to occupied Kherson, said that the criminal fake “new administration’s” plans to “send Kherson residents to rebuild Mariupol”.

According to available information, the Kremlin has plans to “expand the powers” of the self-proclaimed “head of Crimea” Aksyonov, whom they want to make an “organizer of flows”. That is, he was offered the role of “boss” by the Kremlin raiders, and he must criminally ensure the maximum “liberation” of the newly occupied territories from resources (food, medicine, grain, industrial goods, agricultural machinery). At the same time, the Kremlin plans to “trust” the criminal raiding of powerful enterprises in Kherson, Melitopol and Berdyansk with its own oligarchs, not Crimean collaborators.

Russian deputy prime minister Marat Khusnulin called all these war crimes “the launch of the economy”. So the Russians are asking everyone to “believe” that this is not a robbery, not a raid, but allegedly “the formation of the economy”. This is fully in line with the ideology of the so-called “special operation of the Kremlin” in Ukraine, which is criminally positioned by the pro-Russian media as the alleged “liberation of the Ukrainian people”.

The outright robbery does not prevent Aksyonov from claiming during his criminal visit to occupied Kherson about the alleged “brotherhood and partnership” with the occupied Crimea. He also suggested criminally the Kherson business “to re-register in the Crimea”. Recently, Crimean collaborators have also become very interested in the “fuel issue” in the occupied Kherson region. Thus, the Ukrainian special services learned that Aksyonov’s criminal “adviser” Rustem Nimetullayev and collaborator Gennady Sivak plan to criminally “appropriate” gas stations and sell fuel from the occupied peninsula.

The only thing that worries Sivak in this situation is how to make sure that “the locals don’t take the loot out from under our noses”, that’s why he is primarily worried about the “issue of money collection”. This is another example of typical “economic cooperation” in the Kremlin style.

Moreover, none of the Crimean collaborators is interested in where ambulances, fire trucks and public transport will be refueled in the Kherson Region. The main thing is to take advantage of the situation and “get extra profits”. That is why Russian aggression attracts all kinds of fraudsters.

And the Kremlin is very fond of propaganda, which is used when something goes “wrong”. For example, in late May, the fake “head of the administration” of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko promised local residents a “special fair” with vegetables from the Kherson Region. In fact, it turned out that the only car, a small minibus with the inscription “vegetables from Kherson”, at this “fair” was with the numbers of the Krasnodar Territory.

The most discussed issue in the aggressor-controlled Crimean telegram channels today is the “optimization of customs work” of the Russian occupiers. In other words, the occupiers are transferring stolen goods from the Kherson Region at such a frantic pace that even the fake “customs” of the occupiers, which is a purely criminal “formality” of the aggressor, significantly delays the criminal transfer of Ukraine’s national wealth to Crimea.

The ideological basis for such economic destruction of the Kherson Region was the criminal thesis of Russian propaganda about the alleged “reproduction” of the “Tavria province”. For some reason, the Kremlin always needs to justify its own crimes with some fake “historical facts and events”. This was once the case with the occupied Ukrainian peninsula, which has experienced all the hardships of the “Russian world” for the past eight years. In fact, history will not help turn black into white, and collaborators and traitors into “heroes of our time”.

Regarding the norms of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the actions of Crimean collaborators are war crimes, as they cover the following offenses: misappropriation of property in the occupied territories; illegal deportation and displacement of the population; deliberate attack on civilian objects and enterprises; seizure of property; looting of occupied settlements.

It should be noted that such occupiers’ actions the could lead to the economic decline of the occupied territories, as well as to the humanitarian crisis. The combination of total raiding and occupiers’ obstruction the humanitarian convoys from the territory, controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, creates the preconditions for the genocide of the population of these territories. Therefore, in particular, the Ukrainian authorities pay considerable attention to the issue of documenting such war crimes of Crimean collaborators.

Thus, Crimean collaborators are full-fledged accomplices of the Kremlin in the economic destruction of the newly occupied Ukrainian territories. Contrary to all established rules and customs of war, they jointly and criminally do everything possible to destroy the economic potential of promising regions of Ukraine.

The Kremlin plans to extend its “Russian world” to the territory of the independent state, which over the years has achieved much more than all of Russia as a whole. For Crimean collaborators, looting Ukrainian territories is a chance to hide their weakness, because during the years of occupation, Kremlin supporters have not been able to resolve any significant socio-economic issues on the peninsula.

Crimean criminals want only one thing: to have the same “gray” territory, with even worse living conditions. Then, in the event of growing public discontent, it will be possible to “poke a finger” and say that it allegedly “could have been much worse”. This is a fundamental tradition of the Russian imperialists, which they have tested on enslaved peoples for centuries, and there is no other logical explanation for such barbarism.
