After the Russian occupation of Kherson and Melitopol started, invaders’ propaganda paid much attention to the so-called “restoration of freight and passenger rail services” between Crimea and these territories.

In fact, the Russian occupiers sought to meet the needs of his group on the right bank of the Dnieper by rail.

Our Association has already reported on the aggressor’s “armored train”, which carried out a fake “evacuation of foreigners” to Armyansk, covered by Russian propaganda in March, which was in fact the aggressor’s inspection of the railway under the guise of a “live shield”.

But after that, the aggressor’s ability to supply resources by rail from the Crimea to a group of occupiers operating on the right bank of the Dnieper remains extremely limited.

It will be recalled that in March 2022, the Ukrainian authorities called on the population of the occupied territories to “rail war”.

Now the Russian occupiers are forced to maneuver daily, “in the best tradition” of the Nazi invaders, on the railway section between Armyansk and Kherson, a special “prophylactic” train.

This invaders’ “southern express” consists of a shunting locomotive of the so-called “Crimean Railway” with the Dzhankoy depot and platforms with the aggressor’s military, which obviously have to identify “problems” with the railway track and deal with its adjustment.

The Russian occupiers do not trust this “honorable mission” to civilian workers, neither from the Crimea nor from the Kherson region. We are currently clarifying the existence, frequency and number of “problems”.

Relevant invaders’ “railway excursions” significantly worsen the logistics of the aggressor, who is forced to transfer fuel and ammunition to his units in the area between Perekop and Kherson, primarily by road, as well as by aircraft to the well-known Chornobayivka airfield.
